(Knowledge, Understanding Revelation)
Proverbs 4:7 "The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom, and whatever you get, get insight or "sight inside." ( also translated understanding or discernment)
Websters definition: IN'SIGHT, Sight or view of the interior of anything; deep inspection or view; introspection; thorough knowledge or skill.
Job 32:8 "There is a spirit in man, and the breath or inspiration of the Almighty gives him understanding" - "Spirit breathed understanding"
Genesis 2:7 KJV - " And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath or spirit of life; and man became a living soul."
So, God breathed, Spirit of God understanding is what? It is sight inside.
Such as ,"it just dawned on me, "or, " I just got an inspiration" or "it came to me." We might even call it revelation. What you might ask is so important about this? Everyday life will be enhanced or made better x100% by seeking first the God kind of understanding. The term, God breathed means that because of seeking for it and then looking for it inside God will give it to you. Matthew 6:33 "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."
Recipe for Dessert If you want to say, make a dessert you've never made, and your mouth waters at the picture of the finished recipe you just found, then you will need a list of ingredients, kitchenware, and instructions to take you through the process. Right? You gather the ingredients, and look around to see if you have all the necessary kitchenware and then start throwing the ingredients into a bowl…no? What do you do next? Oh, read the instructions! Hopefully by reading the instructions you gain enough understanding to put it all together and make a beautiful dessert that not only looks good, but tastes really good. In a perfect world there are no confusing instructions but if you've ever tried to put together something as complex as a soufflé, or grandmas' coffee cake, you know you are probably going to need some outside help to get this thing done by dinner time.
Where Does Your Help Come From?
Let's see, internet, figure it out to the best of your ability, head scratching, it always worked for dear old mom. What if a correct inspiration could just pop into your mind when you asked yourself the recipe question? Sometimes it does. Most of the time you maybe feel a little panicked, or put out that you now have to take time to search for an answer that only great Aunt Lulabell knew the answer to! There is another way… stop and pray. God cares about what you care about. Could be that inspiration He gives comes with an insight to make the dessert even better than you would have imagined. You probably didn't think baking was a spiritual experience. Anything could be if you let it be God breathed!
Proverbs 2:1-7,10-11 My son, My daughter if you receive my words, (Strongs 3947 = to take) And treasure my commands within you, (Strongs 6845 =to be hidden, stored up) (Is this a reference to sowing the Word and nurturing it?) So that you incline your ear to wisdom, (Looking for it) And apply your heart to understanding; Yes, if you cry out for discernment, And lift up your voice for understanding, If you seek her as silver, And search for her as for hidden treasures; Then you will understand the fear of the Lord, And find the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding; He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; When wisdom enters your heart,And knowledge is pleasant to your soul, Discretion will preserve you; (knowledge which can even save your life)Understanding will keep you, To deliver you from the way of evil,"
Our help comes from the Lord, in Spiritual acquisition of knowledge and understanding of His Word, sown in our hearts, which produces protection and preservation and deliverance from evil! All when Godly Wisdom enters your heart. Christ (the Anointed One) is the Power of God and the Wisdom of God 1Corinthians 1:24
Extreme Need, Almighty God
Not everything is an emergency but when you're panicked over something an answer is never soon enough! What is that scripture? Jeremiah 33:3 "Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, fenced in and hidden, which you do not know (do not distinguish and recognize, have knowledge of and understand)."
Ok maybe you are not in a calling mood, and instead you're crying. Psalm 34:17 says, "When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their distress and troubles." The Strong's word "cry" here means shriek, call, cry, or proclaim. Websters says: 1. To utter a loud voice; to speak, call or exclaim with vehemence; in a very general sense.
Some sickness is very disturbing and others is mildly annoying. Mental problems are the same. Different types of problems require different approaches. How many times do you hear someone shrieking out about an allergy to latex? If they do, take them to a Christian, anointed, counselor.
There are situations which develop over a period of time and are due to things like overeating, or bad diets or attitudes which are going to require God's grace but also our willingness to rethink and choose another path. Most serious health problems didn't arrive over night and don't leave by morning. No matter the severity, we serve the Almighty God to which nothing is impossible! I might add, nothing shall be impossible to them that believe!
Luke 18:27 "But He said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”
Matthew 17:20 "So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you."
I could spend a week writing down all the times we called out or cried out to God and He delivered us and our children from something or another. I'm sure you have too. He has graciously preserved us from everything from huge snow storm accidents, to tornadoes, to near death medical problems! God has been faithful to us. I can tell you that in every case of divine rescue, the Word of the living God was involved! I believe it was because we took in, meditated on and spoke the Words of our Father on a regular basis.
Want to silence a threat, use the Word like Jesus did! When there is a physical threat we take spiritual offense using our authority in Christ ! You can too!
We All Want to Know How Wholeness Works
I'm not God so I don't know what to tell you! Each of you is different and the enemy has built "its" house of cards a little differently depending on the person. What is God's plan to get you whole? Personally, I don't know because God hasn't told me, and probably won't. Reason is if we know then the enemy knows! If you came in for prayer, we would ask the Lord to show us how to pray and we would do what He said, knowing it was a part of His plan and will benefit you. Recently we have been positioned by God to focus on miracles first with people who are on their first visit. This has worked well so far. The Father is taking us higher for the sake of greater results. Our knowledge and understanding is increasing and so is our ability to help others. We do believe that our Father is not planning to lose anyone to a disease calamity!
All I can do is to help guide you through experience into the appropriation by faith of healing, deliverance, peace etc. This involves teaching. Some people "don't need teaching" being they already know everything! We like to start out with discovery. Then do what we believe God is telling us to do first. The Holy Spirit knows everything so you are safe in His arms!
No, we don't have a pattern, a one size fits all list that works for every person every time. And if you go to different ministries, they will have their own protocol and way of dealing with your difficulty.
Last week I talked about the goal of what we do is wholeness. Call it perfect and entire wanting nothing, being restored perfectly, or preserved blameless. We learned the route (if you will) is sanctification. This is a sure bible path which can get you healed and keep you well if you continue and don't go back. Go back to what? Pre-sanctification status! Sanctification involves doing some self discovery, digging up some fallow ground of the heart, submitting and committing yourself to God, taking inventory of sin, finding out what you don't already know about it, and receiving help from the body of Christ to get free. I find sometimes that if a person gets on that road to freedom, they can be healed before God's "whole" process is completed in us. Some are at the goal line when they come in for help and they are instantly healed! Glory to God! One of the things I appreciate about ministry here is that people who come in are always touched by God if they are open to Him!
Sometimes, folks have to deal with roadblocks to healing, or spiritual roots, generational sins, or forgiveness and repentance issues . We can help. Many we find have traumas to deal with, and that's ok. The Lord is compassionate towards the sick and troubled, the same as when He walked on the earth.
Our Mission Statement as stated on our website is :
To bring those in need to the place of healing and wholeness in Jesus Christ.
Mark 2:3-12 describes the foundation for this prayer ministry: Jesus is at a house preaching the word to those gathered. Four men brought their friend to be healed by Jesus. They could not get near Jesus due to the crowd. So they climbed up on the roof and tore open the tiles and let their friend down on a mat in front of Jesus. The man was forgiven and healed! (We want to be those "friends" that will do what it takes to bring you to Jesus (the Healer) to receive your healing.)
1Thessalonians 5:23 "Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you wholly; and may your wholespirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ."
Do you know what God's perfect will for you is? You may say well, "I'm supposed to be a missionary, or a doctor or a teacher, or the Lord has gifted me in some way so I can minister. Great, I wouldn't argue with that. Those are all honorable professions if carried out in the spirit and knowledge of the Gospel. I am talking about you the person, whom God created, as a human being living on this planet. What is that will?
Three main points, I believe captures what God wants for you.
Number 1 is that you have life and live it more abundantly. John 10:10 "I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly."
2. That you would know your creator, Father Son and Holy Spirit. John 14:17 .."but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you."
3. Above all things that you would prosper and be in health. 3 John 2 " Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers."
Let me summarize. Genesis chapter 1 & Genesis chapter 2 , (only in the context of a suffering, fallen world.) In other words "whole." The suffering came because of mans' disobedience of Gods' commandment. Suffering today is greatly because of that first disobedience. Not to mention all of the successive disobediences! So can we turn it around personally, and for others? I wouldn't be here doing this if I didn't believe this. We are here promoting the Kingdom of God through faith and knowledge and the truth of the Glorious Gospel. 1Corinthians 2:9 "But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him."
There is Glory here on the earth and Glory in Heaven to come. I know when Jesus is introduced into someone's life, whether it is as Saviour and Lord, or Baptizer, Healer, Deliverer, Way Maker, Provider, Word of Life, Lover of the Soul, Wonderful Counselor, Word of God, Lamb of God, Power and Wisdom of God, there is a new revelation that comes, a new life, a new Glory from God, revival begins and that person is transformed into a disciple of Jesus for the cause of the Gospel! Sing with me, "I have decided to follow Jesus, I have decided to follow Jesus, no turning back, no turning back!"
Romans 10:10 "For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
