(Knowledge/Understanding Revelation)
Sin is the devils plan of anti - salvation, unleashed in the spirit realm with human beings the target to see destruction and every other evil rule in place of God. All creation belongs to God from the beginning but some ultimately will perish not because of inherent faultiness but chosen willful opposition to Divine will and intent. God did not give His creation spirits of rebellion. Iniquity was found in Lucifer (satan) and it was apparently not there from the beginning. (Ezekiel 28:15) The potential was there. There is no evil in God to impart and He cannot be tempted and does not tempt man with evil. Evil or sin emanates from what Lucifer became and not what he was. Isaiah 14:12-14 and Ezekiel 28 gives us the bibles' clearest description of satan.
Iniquity Got the Human Race Kicked out of Eden.
Life has never been the same. Men set up kingdoms to attempt to rule themselves and to keep foreigners from ruling them. Division and wars came about and people just couldn't get along.
Personally, sins' effect on our souls was the starting point of all difficulties. Mind, will and emotions would now work against us. Let's look at this.
Adam was tempted and failed to take dominion over an outlaw snake with a spiritual ax to grind! When he and his wife agreed with the snake, and acted on what "it" said, fear came in to rule them. Their eyes were opened to evil and it's horror. A terrible side effect was they now feared God, whom they had no reason to fear up to this point.
Now the world became very difficult to live in because God's man had given his authority to a spiritual outlaw which could rule the way "it" wanted. Man did not have access to God the way he did previously and God 's access to man was hindered.
Of course God had a plan to regain the world for mankind, but it would take 4033 years! Men who would cooperate with God became rare as a live cow!
Now is the day we live in and although humanity has progressed to a modern technological society way of life, our souls still experience the effects of Adam's sin. Thank God there is now salvation through Jesus! What does that mean? Glad you asked!
Romans 5:19 "For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous." Jesus was the God-became man who got back man's authority for him from satan. The price was the cross in exchange for our freedom. Every person since Jesus death and resurrection could receive this salvation and walk in the authority he won back from the enemy, satan. Many will not. Thank God we chose to do so! What this means is we can use the authority of God to regain our souls' sanity and live life in peace and health until heaven becomes our home. I did not say there wasn't a fight to fight. There is but it is called the good fight of Faith.
The downward slope of sin's progression
So fear led the charge down the hill of the consequence of sin. Fear still is a door opener for things nefarious . One way this sin affects our souls is by getting us to depend on ourselves. If we practice self reliance then we will try to rely on ourselves even in dire circumstances. This includes accidents. I can tell you from experience that when circumstances are out of control, your words can put God in control. Simply call out the name of Jesus! Fear opens doors because we agree with it. Trust God, submit to Him and resist the devil and "it" will flee from you. After fear, then what? Stress, anxiety. I also have a list of 61 different fears which is not exhaustive. If you find yourself afraid of something, you can overcome it. Fear is sin because it is evil and we sometimes cooperate with it which makes repentance necessary. When you feel fear present, know that it is there to cause something negative to come to pass. But "submit therefore to God, resist the devil …"it" will flee." James 4:7
Physiology and Fear (Dr. Henry Wright)(Basic science of the body)
The Endocrine system is made up of 10 glands, one being the hypothalamus. It is known as the brain of the endocrine system, sending out chemical messengers to the endocrine system. Hormones are sent out to receptor sites by the hypothalamus and the central nervous system when activated by fear. The spirit of fear is the cause of many sicknesses, especially coupled with stress and anxiety. Because this is a spirit, it needs to be cast out before the person can be well in many cases. To be free from fear is to be well! When our peace is gone a physiological state called homeostasis can be shut down and our bodies can experience continual fear which will begin to make us sick. Continual fear correlates with long term sickness.
Part of fear is something called occultism. Fear wants to project something evil and not true into your future for the purpose of bringing it to pass. Occultism is a perversion of what is true. There is a long list here to consider. Things like false religions, idolatry, witchcraft, divination, etc. So in getting free from fear we also must cast out the spirits of occultism. Sources of unrelenting fear are Traumas, generational fears, nightmares, horror films, rejection, occultism practiced, parental training in the wrong manner- using fear, etc.
Mental Problems and Fear (Stats/Internet)
People with depression have a 40% higher risk of developing cardiovascular and metabolic diseases than the general population. People with serious mental illness are nearly twice as likely to develop these conditions.
33.5% of U.S. adults with mental illness also experienced a substance use disorder in 2021 (19.4 million individuals)
47.2% of U.S. adults with mental illness received treatment in 2021
Some Signs and symptoms of mental illness can include:
Excessive worries or fears, anxiety, Detachment from reality, paranoia,
Stress, Sadness. Has the spirit of fear written all over it.
Sometimes these problems start out small and escalate over time. This is what we call training by the enemy.
When we see people with great fear we realize that the enemy has invested a lot of time sowing and projecting fears into their future. They maybe didn't know any better than to give in to the pressure.
The Lord Jesus will rescue them! Don't doubt, but teach them their authority in Christ and give them the tools to live free!
They Forgot to Mention Selfishness.
Our society promotes this kind of mindset as if it were a virtue! All temptation comes from selfishness. You might want to go out and help someone else but be tempted to stay home and watch a movie. Satan, "it" wants to keep us focused on number 1. Deception works with our tendency to be self focused.
1John 2:16 “For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.”
Temptation comes from satan who was defeated at the cross of Christ. All "it" has left is deception and temptation with which to sway us into ungodliness. You can’t be tempted unless you have first thought about it. All temptation is linked to what you think on. Therefore, control your thoughts, and you will control temptation. It’s true we were born sinners (Psalm 51:5) and had the nature of the devil working in us (Ephesians 2:2-3). But when we came to Christ and received salvation, we became a new creation in the spirit. We were not meant to battle the old nature the rest of our lives.
"If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." 2 Corinthians 5:17
But in the spirit, you became a brand-new species of being. Your spirit is totally new. There isn’t an old sin nature left in you.
That the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. Our sin nature is dead and gone, but it left behind a body. That body is the carnal mind. It will still function as programmed until we reprogram it. That’s what the Bible calls the renewing of the mind. Our lives are transformed by the renewing of our minds Romans12:2 (Andrew Wommack)
The Goal is Wholeness
1Thessalonians 5:23 "Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you wholly; and may your wholespirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ." That is all of you!
Whole -Greek sound, healthy, pure, whole
2 Thessalonians 2:13. "But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth,"
1 Peter 1:2. "according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ."
The process of sanctification will not only deal with sin issues but also spiritually rooted diseases as well. The spiritual roots are sin. Jesus dealt with peoples root issues as in Mark 2:5 When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.” He(paralytic) did not know he was forgiven and needed to know"
Whether we are talking about salvation ( deliver, health, salvation, save, saving) or healing or sanctification, the result of wholeness is the same goal. Jesus prayed for a blind man twice before he saw perfectly.
Acts 4:10 "Let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole."
Matthew 15:31 "So the multitude marveled when they saw the mute speaking, the maimed made whole, the lame walking, and the blind seeing; and they glorified the God of Israel."
Philippians 1:6 "being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ; "
James 1:4 "But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and entire, lacking nothing."
2 Timothy 3:17 "that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."
Hebrews 13:21"…make you complete and perfect in every good work to do His will,"
So we are talking about the Lord our God, who by His own arm brought salvation, deliverance, healing, completeness, perfection, sanctification, & wholeness to us who believe. We are those who engage in the appropriation of His promises by faith and do not shrink back. We do not give up, but believe we receive when we pray then keep faith active until the promise manifests. We take our authority in the Name of Jesus, cast out demons, cast down imaginations and every high thing exalting itself against the knowledge of God. We put on the whole armor of God and stand against the forces of darkness!
And there is one more thing we do …We Win!!!
