Love That Never Ends July 13th 2026

Love's Spectrum is such that God has no beginning and will have no end. Forever and ever amen! Forever is in both directions! He was forever and is forever. We are enabled to join Him in the “is forever” side of eternity as we are this side of the cross!

John 1:1-3 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ² He (the Word) was in the beginning with God. ³ All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 

John 1:10-13 “He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him.¹¹ He came to His own, and His own (people) did not receive Him. ¹² But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: ¹³ who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”

I must comment on the word “receive" as it pertains to eternal life. What this verse is saying is that He was received or taken by people; (accepted; admitted; embraced; entertained; believed). All those words in English were or could have been a part of what an individual intended by receiving Him. Do we not treat the written Word this same way? Think about it! If you received Him, you were given the right to become a child of God, with all the benefits and privileges of the Kingdom, including eternal life.   

Revelation 1:8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”  He who is the beginning and end, who began all things. 

The text highlights God’s uncreated, infinite nature. As stated in Psalms, “Before the mountains were born or You brought forth the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting You are God” Psalm 90:2. 

The Creator predates everything. God is not subject to time or any external force; rather, He is the source of all time, space, and matter. 

Webster's definition of infinite 1. Without limits; unbounded; boundless; not circumscribed; applied to time, space and qualities. God is infinite in duration, having neither beginning nor end of existence. He is also infinite in presence, or omnipresent, and his perfections are infinite We also speak of infinite space.

2. That will have no end. Thus angels and men, though they have had a beginning, will exist in infinite duration.

3. That has a beginning in space, but is infinitely extended; as, a line beginning at a point, but extended indefinitely, is an infinite line.

The phrase “In the beginning God created” naturally leads to the concept of ex nihilo creation. Scripture consistently proclaims that God spoke all existence into being without reliance on preexisting materials. Later texts confirm this: “By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command…” Hebrews 11:3 The idea that matter arose from nothing underscores God’s omnipotence. (All Power)

Our best and brightest understanding cannot comprehend the God who created us in His image and likeness. Yet we can know Him as a person would know another person who is seen. For reasons not known to us, He remains unseen. Omnipotent or all powerful yet in control of all He is and created. Because He is good, we can confidently say if something is good it is from God! If it is bad = devil.  When did the devil enter the universe? angels? Looks like around the time slightly before God created man.

It appears that the enemy of our souls gradually made its way into societal consciousness. It was always a total deviant of truth and righteousness. Found in writings of Judaism, Christianity, even Islam, the enemy is described as completely evil. Belief in satan was said to be adopted by Jews who lived under Persian rule, 550 BC. (Achaemenid Empire). Its name means adversary, or opposer, or slanderer. satan was not found as a character in the Jewish bible.

The clearest early example appears in Job 1 and 2, “ha-satan” appears among the heavenly court. He challenges Job's integrity and argues that Job's righteousness depends on blessing and protection. The scene feels less like a duel between equal powers and more like a courtroom exchange under God's sovereign permission. That detail is essential for teaching. The accuser in Job is adversarial, but he is not outside God's authority. Names of the devil in the bible include; tempter, ruler of this world, the deceiver, adversary of God’s people.

The clearest bible starting point where satan is unwrapped is in the wilderness. In Matthew 4:1-11, Mark 1:13, and Luke 4:1-13, satan confronts Jesus directly. He tests the Son at the outset of His public ministry, pressing on hunger, identity, and kingship. The scene works like a decisive battle at the opening of a campaign. Before Jesus begins proclaiming the kingdom in full, the enemy tries to divert Him from His purpose in coming to earth. Could Jesus be the one witness on earth that can describe satan's beginning and also things about the devil no one else knows? What about if the devils’ description came from the Book of Enoch and is tied to Bible scriptures?

Let’s look at His reference in Luke 11:24-25 where Jesus talks about a demon leaving someone's house (temple, person) and seeking rest then ending up walking in dry and waterless places. Jesus made hundreds of references by quotation to Old Testament scriptures in the bible, but from this scripture He quotes the book of Enoch. Job being written around the time of Enoch allows us to see similarity both in Job 1 and in Enoch and Luke 11. In Job 1 the devil walked about the face of the earth. As in a place in the spirit realm not heaven or hell, but Jesus called them waterless and dry. 

The book of Enoch is said to give a thorough history of  the origin of demons and is directly quoted in Jude 14 the parallel verse is 1 Enoch 1:9 Jude 14-15  “It was also about these that Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of his holy ones, ¹⁵ to execute judgment on all and to convict all the ungodly of all their deeds of ungodliness that they have committed in such an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things that ungodly sinners have spoken against him.” 

1 Enoch 1:9 9 “And behold! He cometh with ten thousands of His holy ones to execute judgement upon all, And to destroy all the ungodly: And to convict all flesh of all the works of their ungodliness which they have ungodly committed, And of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him."                                                                                                   

2 Peter 2:4 also references 1Enoch 10:4-17 in dealing with disobedient angels. Quotations from the book of Enoch are also throughout the dead sea scrolls and are thus pre-Christian. 

After or maybe before the creation of man God sent “Watchers” to the earth, who at that time were good angels. Daniel 4:13,17,23¹³ “I saw in the visions of my head as I lay in bed, and behold, a Watcher, a holy one, came down from heaven.  and they were also called “sons of God.” They were to teach and watch over mankind. They had bodies. But the Watchers became enthralled with the beauty of women and left their first normal estate. They entered into union sexually with women and had offspring. The children of this union of angels and women were giants in their day. They corrupted the flesh of man and caused mayhem on earth to the point that it grieved God enough to destroy man. This was not God's initial plan (the flood). We can then assume that this evil came to pass as a result of free will on behalf of God’s creation and not God directly creating evil. We can see that the evil was a result of satan tempting the watchers to fornicate with women to create these bastard offspring and not God.

This was an attempt to corrupt the bloodline of the Messiah through leading women and men astray. God punished the disobedient angels by chaining them in a place called Tartarus until final judgement. God then proceeded to have these giant offspring of women and the Watchers destroy one another through war. The remainder of those not killed in war, died in the flood where they lost their bodies, but their spirits remained here on earth. 

The conclusion is demons are disembodied spirits of the giant offspring between the Watchers and women. The fact that we call these spirits demons is without doubt since Enoch states their origin this way: “Now the giants who have been born of spirit and flesh shall be called upon the earth, evil spirits, and the earth shall be their habitation. Evil spirits shall proceed from their flesh because they were created from above; from the Holy Watchers was their beginning and primary foundation. Evil spirits shall they be upon the earth and the spirits of the wicked shall they be called. The habitation of the spirits of Heaven shall be in Heaven; but upon the earth shall be the habitation of the terrestrial spirits who are born on earth.”

They will live forever in torment and agony. Not you! We are born of God through Jesus Christ from the moment we received Him! John 1:12 “ But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.” 

Love entered into your relationship with the Lord from the start. This will never change. Malachi 3:6 “For I am the Lord, I do not change;” To never change means never in eternity! This is the only constant we can rely on forever. God and what He has prepared for us in Heaven is forever!  Psalm 118:29  “Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever!” 1 John 4:7 “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.”

Isaiah 54:8 “In overflowing anger for a moment I hid my face from you, but with everlasting love I will have compassion on you,” says the Lord, your Redeemer.”                                                                                                           Since it is the eternal home we are expecting, let's discover some things about heaven. 

Matthew 3:17 “and behold, a voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.” God the Father dwells there.

Matthew 4:17 “From that time Jesus began to preach, saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Heaven is a Kingdom which manifests on earth.

Matthew 5:12 “Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven.” There are great rewards in Heaven for us.

Matthew 5:44-45  ^“But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, ⁴⁵ so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven.” If we obey God, we are sons of our Father in heaven. 

Matthew 6:20 “but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.” We can do this!

Matthew 13:31-32“...The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his field. ³² It is the smallest of all seeds, but when it has grown it is larger than all the garden plants and becomes a tree…”  the Kingdom of Heaven can grow on earth.

Matthew 18:10 “See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven.”  Whoah!

John 6:31,33 “Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written, ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’” For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” Jesus is the bread from Heaven!

John 6:58 “This is the bread that came down from heaven, not like the bread the fathers ate, and died. Whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.” Eternal Life

Acts 2:1-4  “When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. ² And suddenly there came from Heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. ³ And divided tongues as fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them. ⁴ And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.”  God gave us the Holy Spirit of His Love to be with us on earth! The kingdom of Heaven has manifested and is manifesting! 

Acts 7:55 “But he (Stephen) being full of the Holy Spirit (of His Love), gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God.” The Glory of God is in Heaven! 

There is so much more we can’t contain it! Now seems like an eternity but it's only a speck. My hope with this talk is that we become more heavenly minded here on earth, seeing our future through His Word and rejoicing as we go!
