First, Steve taught on "Fullness with God", then "Keeping Full of God" and next Debra taught, "Fear Not!" then Bill taught on "The Fire of God" Now I am going to give you some pointers on where do we go from here.

Relationship: First we must know and believe we are children of God.

There are many promises in the Word of God.  So to benefit from these we must read, read, read, the Bible daily. Keep at it until they become part of us.

Relationship is the main reason we were made. When we are full of God, He seeps out of us and this is ministry. Webster's 1828 defines relationship as 'the state of being related by kindred, affinity, or other alliance.' Some synonyms are; 'to tie, have rapport, affiliation, association, bond or dependency.'

So let's look at who we are and what we have in Christ.

We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. 2 Corinthians 5:21.

We are in right standing with Him and He is our righteousness. Romans 8:37. We are more than conquerors. Ephesians 2-6,

We are seated with Christ in Heavenly places.

What do we have in Christ? We have abundance, no lack, healing, joy, peace, rest. These are a few benefits of being born again.

What are we called to do? Seek salvation of the lost: 1Timothy2:46

Be Imitators of Christ: Ephesians 5:1-2.

Love one another and walk humbly: Micah 6:8.

Love your God with every part of your being and your neighbor as yourself: Matthew 22:37-40.

How do We build Relationship with Him?

Draw near to Him and you will find Him: James 4:8.

Seek Him with all your heart: Jeremiah 29:13.

Love Him with every part of your being: Matthew 22:37.

Abide in Him…God promised if we look for Him we will find Him: Deut 4:29.

Jesus has given us everything that pertains to life and Godliness: 2 Peter 1:3.

God is able to make all grace abound toward me having all sufficiency in all things and have an abundance in every good work: 2 Corinthians 9:8.

Adoration -definition- 'the act of paying honors to a divine being…the worship unto God.'

Adoration consists in external homage accompanied with the highest reverence. 1 Chronicles 29:11 "Yours O Lord is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory and the majesty; for all that is in heaven is yours; and the earth is yours, Yours is the Kingdom O Lord; And you are exalted as King over all."

Confession - definition- 'The acknowledgement of a fault or a crime, open declaration of guilt or failure.' 1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us of all unrighteousness."

Thanksgiving -definition-'the act of expressing gratitude'-Giving thanks for all things to God: Ephesians 5:20.

Supplication - 'petition, earnest request'. "Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you shall find, knock and it will be opened to you." Matthew 7:7.

Jonathan and David's Relationship: An example of the Fathers relationship with us played out in a covenant context in the story of Jonathan and David. Their souls were knit together and they made covenant with each other even though Jonathan was 24 years older than David. Their love for one another represented the Love of God, the father for all His people.1 Samuel 18:1-5, Samuel 20:8-17.

Look at John 10:30 Jesus said, "I and my Father are one." We as well are one with the Father. Jesus also said, that they may be one just as you , Father are in me and I in you. John 17:21

Here is how to do the relationship: Greet the Lord each morning with thanksgiving to Him, repentance, adoration, praise and worship. Then sit quietly in His presence and wait for Him to speak to you. I have a pamphlet from George Foster called, "Seven Minutes with God". It has blessed me and many others. God Bless all of you and get ready to be changed as a part of building your relationship with the Father.

Benefits of the Relationship. We are loved, we are at peace, we are blessed having everything we need. We are strengthened, comforted, and confident that we are running the race that He has for us! Coming soon!
